Hello and Welcome!
My name is Giulia Mezzadri. I'm a mathematician and a postdoctoral researcher in the Cognition and Decision Lab at Columbia University (New York, United States), working with Michael Woodford. I'm currently investigating the cognitive mechanisms underlying economic decision-making and behavior.
Previously, I was a PhD student in the J.A. Dieudonné laboratory at Université Côte d'Azur (Nice, France), under the supervision of Patricia Reynaud-Bouret, Fabien Mathy, and Thomas Laloë. During my PhD, I used computational modeling and experimentation to study human category learning and representation.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, hiking, and learning languages. I'm also a proud member of the LGBTQI+ community.
Please, feel free to contact me. I'm always happy to talk about creative and ambitious ideas!
